A Decade After Its Release Microsoft Terminates Support for Windows 7.

Its official announced by Microsoft that support for windows 7 operating system ended., which released in October of 2009.

  After ten years of supporting what was a highly popular OS used by many consumers and businesses worldwide, It expires on Tuesday(14 January).

Users Won’t Have Any Security Now

“Microsoft made a commitment to provide 10 years of product support for Windows 7 when it was released on October 22, 2009. This 10-years period has now expired, and Microsoft discontinued Windows 7 support. Has given so that we can focus our investment on supporting new technologies and great new experience., “wrote in an article published by Microsoft.

So, Now technical support and software updates from windows update that help protect your PC are not available for Windows 7. Microsoft strongly recommended that you go to Windows 10 to avoid a situation where you need service or support is no longer available.

Windows 7 support no longer available

Ending support means that if you are still using Windows 7  Microsoft won’t give you any protection from any bugs or glitches in the software. If a problem occurs, do not expect any patches or help from Microsoft.

Microsoft has been trying many years that users upgrade to Windows 10. Microsoft also offered free upgrades until July of 2016, But not everyone took advantage. Now they have to buy Windows 10 or buy a device that is preinstalled.
